Metal layers with electrically conductive surfaces on foils, glass plates, paper, plastic plates, etc. can be measured. There are no measurement difficulties with oxidized or painted surfaces or with other unsafe contacts. The Stratometer G is a small hand-held measuring device intended for use in production control or for mobile use. The measurement is carried out by placing the device on the test object.

Various measurement and evaluation options are available, e.g.: Display of the sheet resistance in Ohm/sqr, Siemens/sqr (rhom), optical density, the layer thickness in nanometers, entry of material constants, storage of 100 samples or measurements, serial Interface to the computer or printer, etc. The decimal point is automatically adjusted to the displayed value.
